Terms and Conditions

Effective January 1, 2026

Tinton Falls Concrete, tintonfallsconcrete.com, hi@tintonfallsconcrete.com

Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of this website and any work you hire Tinton Falls Concrete to do. When you browse the site, request an estimate or book a job with us, you agree to them.

If you don't agree with something here, please don't use the site or book work with us. Call us first so we can talk it through. A signed estimate or written agreement for your job takes priority over these terms wherever the two differ.

What we do

Tinton Falls Concrete is a concrete contractor in Tinton Falls, NJ. We build driveways, patios, sidewalks, steps, garage floors, pool decks, retaining walls, footings, foundations and other flatwork, which is our word for flat slabs on the ground. We work in Tinton Falls and the cities around it. The home page lists our services and the areas we serve.

The exact work on your job, the materials and the finish are whatever your written estimate or agreement describes. If it's not in writing, it isn't part of the job until we both agree to add it.

Estimates and pricing

We give free quotes on site, and you're under no pressure to book. Prices on this website are general information only. Your price comes from your written estimate, because it depends on what we see at your house.

The size of the slab, how much old concrete has to come out, how much digging and base work the ground needs, the finish you choose and how easy the site is to reach all move the price. An estimate is based on what we can see before we start. Sometimes we find soft ground, buried debris, roots or old concrete once the job is open. If that changes the work or the cost, we'll stop, show you, and get your okay before going further.

Unless your estimate says otherwise, it's good for 30 days, since material and concrete prices change.

Scheduling, weather and cancellation

We'll give you a start date when you book, and we'll do our best to keep it. Concrete depends on the weather, so we reschedule for rain, freezing temperatures or extreme heat, because pouring in those conditions makes a weaker slab. A weather delay isn't a breach of our agreement, and we'll tell you as soon as we know.

If you need to cancel or move your date, call us as early as you can. Once we've ordered concrete, materials or equipment for your job, you may owe what we've already spent or committed to, and your written agreement will say how that works.

Your new slab needs time to cure, which is the wait while concrete gains strength before it's used. We'll tell you when it's safe to walk on and when it's safe to drive on. Using it sooner can damage it, and that damage isn't covered.

Payment

Payment terms, including any deposit, progress payments and the final balance, are set out in your written estimate or agreement. Final payment is due when the work is finished as described, unless your agreement says otherwise.

If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's caught up. You're responsible for reasonable costs we have to spend collecting an unpaid balance, to the extent New Jersey law allows.

Your property and access

You agree that you own the property or have the owner's permission for the work. Please give our crew clear access on the scheduled day, and move cars, furniture, planters and anything else from the work area.

Tell us about anything buried that we might not see, such as sprinkler lines, drain pipes, septic parts, invisible pet fences or private wiring. We aren't responsible for damage to buried items nobody told us about. Heavy trucks and equipment can leave marks on lawns and soft ground near the work, and we'll do reasonable cleanup when we finish.

Permit and approval rules depend on your city and the job. Your written agreement says who is responsible for any permit or homeowners association approval.

What to expect from concrete

We're fully licensed and insured, and we stand behind our work. If something isn't right, call us and we'll come look at it. Any written warranty for your job is the one in your agreement, and we don't make any other promise, spoken or implied, beyond what New Jersey law requires.

Concrete is a natural material, and some things about it are normal and not defects. Small hairline cracks can show up over time. We cut control joints, which are planned grooves that give the slab a place to crack in a straight line, but no contractor can promise a slab will never crack. Color, texture and stamped patterns will vary somewhat from samples and photos, and new concrete won't match old concrete exactly.

We aren't responsible for problems caused by things outside our work, such as ground movement, tree roots, drainage changes made after we leave, deicing salts, heavy vehicles beyond what the slab was built for, or using the slab before it has cured.

Limits on our liability

To the extent New Jersey law allows, Tinton Falls Concrete's total liability for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. We aren't liable for indirect or follow-on losses, such as lost use of your driveway, lost income or other costs that don't come directly from our work.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under New Jersey law that can't be waived.

Using this website

The information on this site, including photos, descriptions of how we work and general price talk, is for general information. It isn't a quote and isn't professional advice for your house. We try to keep it accurate, but the site is provided as it is, and we don't promise it will always be available or error-free.

The text and photos on this site belong to Tinton Falls Concrete. Please don't copy them for commercial use without our permission. You can read more about who we are on our about page.

If we disagree

If you're unhappy with any part of a job, call us first. Most problems get settled by walking the slab together, and we'd rather fix something than argue about it. Please give us a fair chance, at least 30 days, to look at the issue and make it right.

If we still can't settle it, either of us may take the matter to the courts in Monmouth County, New Jersey, or to small claims court where the amount qualifies.

Governing law

These terms, and any work we do for you, are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the current one. Changes won't affect a job you've already signed for, unless we both agree in writing.
