About our Tinton Falls concrete contractor crew

How I got into concrete
I started out as a helper on a small concrete crew, hauling forms and pushing mud until the guy I worked for finally handed me a trowel. I learned the trade pour after pour, and in 2013 I started this business here in Tinton Falls.
Most of our calls come from homeowners who need a driveway, patio or steps, along with property owners who need a slab, footings or a lot. What's under the concrete and where the water runs matter more to me than how it looks the day we finish, because a nice-looking slab on a soft base just sinks with the dirt under it. I'd rather tell you plainly that something isn't worth the money than sell you more than you need, and that's the kind of concrete contractor in Tinton Falls, NJ I set out to run.

What you can expect from us
One person from estimate to pour
I'm the one who comes out, measures and writes up your estimate, and I'm on site running the crew when we dig, form, pour and finish. Nothing gets lost between what we talked about in your driveway and what goes in the ground.
A straight answer at the estimate
You'll hear what your job needs and what it doesn't, including when something isn't worth doing. That way you can make a decision and get on with your week.
A new date when pour day is wrong
If the weather or the site isn't right on pour day, we tell you and move the date instead of pouring and hoping for the best. Concrete placed in bad conditions, like midday heat, can end up with a weak, dusty top you'd be stuck looking at for years.
Borough paperwork started early
We go over which borough offices your job will likely go through, help you gather the survey and drawings they ask for and handle the permit filing with you. The borough's Building Department has the last word on what's needed and only issues a building permit once any zoning approvals are in place, so we check with them before we start.
Licensing and insurance
New Jersey home improvement license
The New Jersey State Board of Home Improvement and Home Elevation Contractors requires home improvement contractors to be licensed and to keep that license renewed, and the state counts work like driveways and garages at your house as home improvement. We're fully licensed and insured, so that's one thing you can cross off when you're picking a contractor.
